Traffic Stop Ends In Arrest

The Weatherly Police Department is committed to creating a safe, crime free environment by enforcing the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In the evening hours of June 28, 2023, the Weatherly Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of West Main Street on an individual who had an active arrest warrant stemming from narcotics based offenses from Luzerne County.

The individual was housed in the Carbon County Correctional facility to face extradition back to the arresting agency.
