New Notification System
The Notification system that the Borough had been using for the past 20 years no longer is in business, which forced us to find another system. We will now be using CODE RED as our notification system for snow ban, public notifications and emergency situations. This system is different from our previous system in that this system will be totally automated in the messaging. You will not hear the familiar voice as in the past and the opening announcement will be different. So, when the next snow storm that will deliver 2” or more is on the weather forecasters radar, you will hear the new notification message, please accept the call. The call should show the following phone number 206-536-3695 but there may be some problems and we are working with the company to get the transition to their system cleared up.
We will do a test call on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 6 pm, it will show the phone number 206-536-3695. If you do not receive the call, contact the borough office during business hours 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday.
