DRUG/FIREARMS POSSESSION

On August 30th 2024 Officer Kubert observed a vehicle stopped along Evergreen Ave across from the Elementary School in the Borough which appeared to be disabled. Officer Kubert stopped to render aid to the occupants and upon approaching the vehicle a strong odor of marihuana was coming from the vehicle’s interior. Upon further investigation the 2 occupants both turned over medical grade marihuana and THC vapes, both admitted they did not possess medical marihuana cards. The occupants provided ID and it was found that one of the occupants, Steven J. BOLORIN, 28, of Allentown was wanted by Allentown PD along with felony warrants from New York. BOLORIN was taken into custody for the warrants and transported to the Weatherly Police Headquarters. The driver, Anthony K. GARCIA-FERRAN, 26, of Allentown was also found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun. GARCIA-FERRAN does not possess a concealed carry permit. He was also taken into custody and transported to the Weatherly Police Headquarters for questioning. Charges are pending on both BOLORIN, and GARCIA-FERRAN.


Any information received that was not released by the Weatherly Police Department is considered invalid and should not be deemed official. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of Law.
