OFFICER PROMOTION

On behalf of the Weatherly Police Department, we would like to congratulate former Weatherly Police Officer James Scott. Officer Scott served with our department since 2010 before joining the Pocono Township Police Department in 2017. Officer Scott was a great asset to our department and exhibited in-depth knowledge and leadership skills of being a Police Officer. At last night’s Pocono Township board meeting the Board of Commissioners announced the official promotion of Officer Scott to the rank of Corporal. It makes us proud to see that Officers who began their careers in Weatherly are able to take their knowledge they gained and apply it in the field and rise through the ranks. Corporal Scott is still talked about around the station and he is still called upon for some professional insight when needed by our Officers. We wish him the best with this new rank and are confident he will achieve greatness! Congratulations Corporal Scott!
